Starting a new journey is exciting, exhilarating, and most of all, downright terrifying. Been there, felt that. I cried all the way from Chattanooga to Johannesburg on my first big overseas move. I had my family and friends all rooting me on, but no one in my corner that was already steps ahead of me, coaching me on towards success.

In both life and business, we need people who have gone before us, forged their own path, and are willing to share what they've learned with others. I truly believe that having a mentor by my side all those years ago would have made such a huge difference in my first year abroad as I was navigated building an international organization and a life overseas.
